Failure is Good.

Failure is GOOD? What do you think when you read that?

Sound a little crazy?

Let me explain.

It seems that the biggest obstacle facing beginner internet marketers is

Getting Started.

The number one problem is simply pulling the trigger!

For most people, that translates into a fear of failure.
A fear of:

  1. not knowing if it’s right,
  2. not knowing if it’s good,
  3. not knowing if it’s done,
  4. not knowing if it’s going to work….

Does that ring a bell anywhere inside your marketing mind?

There is a fabulous two-word slogan that I heard from one of my mentors,
Perry Marshall (author of the definitive guide on Google Adwords - called, funnily enough,
"The Definitive Guide To Google Adwords"),

that goes like this:

Fail Faster.

That’s it.

Fail Faster.

The brilliance behind this might not be obvious, but, oh, it is there:

The true entreprenuerial mind views failure as a lesson…
as an indicator of what isn’t working, and therefore
narrowing the options of what might work–

Make sense?
The short version is, when you aren’t trying anything
you haven’t a clue
what will or will not work.

As soon as you start trying things, you are learning exactly that.

As long as every failure teaches you something,
welcome them.

Strive not to fail, but to learn from trying.

A few failures won’t kill you– they’ll teach you!

 To your ever-increasing Focus…
